Step 2: Installing Artisan and Your Digital Art Kits
This video will walk you through getting Artisan installed on your new computer and installing your art kits as well.

Open a Windows File Explorer Folder showing your Digital Art on your External Hard Drive (EHD).
Add Kits to the Default Commercial Art Kits Folder.
- From the Welcome Screen in Artisan, go to Content Manager.
- Select the Commercial Art Kits folder and click the Blue hyperlink to open the Windows File Explorer for the location on your new computer.
- Minimize Artisan and position the Windows File Explore windows side by side.
- Go into the Commercial Art Kits Folder on Your EHD, type CTRL-A to select all of the kits.
- Drag the kits over to the new Commerical Art Kits window. Note: If the file says "Move" instead of "Copy" when you are dragging, hold down the CTRL key before releasing to Copy.
Add Kits to the Default Personal Art Kits Folder.
- From the Welcome Screen in Artisan, go to Content Manager.
- Select the Personal Art Kits folder and click the Blue hyperlink to open the Windows File Explorer for the location on your new computer.
- Minimize Artisan and position the Windows File Explore windows side by side.
- Go into the Personal Art Kits Folder on Your EHD, type CTRL-A to select all of the kits.
- Drag the kits over to the new Personal Art Kits window. Note: If the file says "Move" instead of "Copy" when you are dragging, hold down the CTRL key before releasing to Copy.
Import existing Library Folders.
- Navigate to the location you want to save your Digital Art, right click> New> Folder. Give the folder a name (i.e. Digital Art). Skip this step if you will be leaving the Digital Art on your EHD.
- Open a second Windows File Explore window and navigate to where your libary folders are on your External Hard Drive.
- Type CTRL-A to select all the Libarary Folders, then drag and drop them to copy them to the new location.
- Go to the Artisan Welcome Screen> Manage Content.
- Right click Library> Add folder to library, then navigate to the location of your Library Folders on your new computer.
- Click on a Library Folder (do not open it)> Select folder. Wait for folder to fully Index.
- Repeat steps 4e-f until all Library Folders have been imported.
